Avenue Invest’s Unitholders To Receive RM14.20 Million In Income Distribution

Avenue Invest Berhad (“AvIB”), a member of the ECM Libra Avenue Group, is paying out a total of RM14.20 million in income distribution for four (4) of its funds for the period 2 January 2007 to 30 April 2007. The four funds are Avenue VersatileEXTRA Fund (“AVEF”), Avenue TacticalEXTRA Fund (“ATEF”), Avenue EquityEXTRA Fund (“AEEF”) and Avenue DividendEXTRA Fund (“ADEF”).
AvIB said “Following a satisfying performance by our Funds, we are pleased to be able to reward our unitholders with this distribution. We expect the Funds to maintain their consistent performance and hope to declare more income distributions later in the year.”
AVEF has declared a gross interim distribution of 2.19 sen per unit while ATEF delivered a gross interim distribution of 5.79 sen per unit. A total distribution of RM7.39 million of which RM0.85 million and RM6.54 million will be reinvested back into AVEF and ATEF, respectively at the net asset value per unit on 21 May 2007, the ex-distribution date, which excludes entry fee. For the period under review, 2 January 2007 to 30 April 2007, AVEF registered a return of 14.38% whilst ATEF, chalked in a return of 20.82%.
Unitholders of AEEF and ADEF, will receive a gross interim distribution of 6.47 sen per unit and 5.64 sen per unit, respectively. A total distribution of RM6.81 million of which RM5.85 million and RM0.96 million will be reinvested back into AEEF and ADEF, respectively at the net asset value per unit on 21 May 2007, the ex-distribution date, which excludes entry fee. For the period under review, AEEF and ADEF generated a return of 18.38% and 14.66%, respectively.
